Undoubtedly, "sustainability" is among the most frequently used and overburdened terms in Western economies. Even large corporations use it to convey responsibility and added value to consumers, often in a rather superficial manner. However, for an increasing number of businesses in Austria, sustainable practices go far beyond image cultivation. They "generate a wave of change with their business ideas, significantly contributing to achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)" (quote: Dr. Harald Mahrer, President of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce).

The Trigos Award: Recognizing Sustainable Excellence

Since its inception 19 years ago, the TRIGOS jury has reviewed 2,730 entries, nominating and awarding 338 companies for Austria's most prestigious sustainability prize. These organizations share a common vision and motivation: to establish a robust foundation for a future worth inheriting through ecological, socially responsible, and sustainable business practices.
