Pre-cultivation: from June to the end of July for harvest

from September till the end of November (spring cultivation is variety dependable).

Distances: 30 x 30 - 40 cm

Required quantity of seeds: planting: 3 g/acre; direct sowing: 12-25 g/acre.

Sowing depth: light germinator, only slightly cover with soil.

Thousand seeds mass: 1,3g – 2,5g

Propagator: GAM, PAN, RFE, VBZ

Targeted bleaching: Self-bleaching endive varieties are characterised by an independent yellow colouring and the fact that the inner leaves (hearts) are largely free of bitterness. For targeted bleaching, plant heads must be covered with an opaque bonnet one week before harvesting.
